    Cedar Valley Catholic Schools is looking to fill an additional Title 1 Teacher at Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta Middle School.

    1. Demonstrates aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned responsibilities
    2. Supports and fosters Christian uniqueness of system
    3. Uses gospel values as the basis for decision-making
    4. State of Iowa Teaching License with appropriate endorsement(s) 
    1. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
    2. Evaluate pupils’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
    3. Communicate with parents through conferences and other means to discuss pupil’s progress and interpret the school program.
    4. Create an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers.
    5. Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district and self-selected professional growth activities.
    6. Select and requisition books and instructional aids; maintain required inventory records.
    7. Participate in curriculum development programs as required.
    8. Participate in faculty committees and the sponsorship of pupil activities.
    9. Lecture, demonstrate, and use audiovisual teaching aids to present subject matter to class.
    10. Keep attendance and grade records as required by school.
