  •   TITLE:                       Instructional Leadership Team Member (ILT)     (this is a TLC position and will be paid a TLC stipend)        
    DOCUMENTS:          Completed Applitrack application with corresponding questions and 3-5 peers to fill out the confidential survey
    1. Hold a State of Iowa Standard Teaching License
    2. Have at least one year of successful teaching completed in Ankeny
    3. Demonstrate minimum of proficiency on Danielson rubrics 4d, 4e, 4f
    QUALIFICATIONS: Strong understanding of instructional strategies and assessment literacy.
    STIPEND:                   $2,500.00
    ADDITIONAL TIME: Approximately 44 hours outside of normal contract
    REPORTS TO:           Building Principal       
    JOB GOAL:   The purpose of the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) is to facilitate the mission, vision, values, and goals of the district.
    1. Functions as a member of the ILT PLC – addresses the 4 guiding questions
    2. Identifies the building vision, goals, and communicate to PLC’s
    3. Collects data and monitors implementation fidelity of building initiatives
    4. Learns about and plan how to provide professional learning on Professional Growth Model as areas of needs and questions arise
    5. Provides leadership and support to teachers and PLCs
    6. Commits to learning about, leading, and builds capacity for instructional leadership; participates in delivery of professional development
    7. Engages in continued learning around initiatives and provide leadership for building, PLC, and individual professional learning
    8. Uses research and best practice as a model for planning, implementation, and decision making, such as the Iowa Professional Development Model
    9. Collaborates with staff  to develop and sustain a collaborative culture
    10. Works with the team to make decisions for the benefit of students
    11. Evaluates and problemsolves by assisting in evaluating the effectiveness of building and district initiatives and provides solutions for improvement
    12. Commits to attending all ILT functions/meetings

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing-pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking.
    1.   Includes extremes of temperature and humidity.
    2.   Hazards include stairs, communicable diseases, getting in and out of vehicle frequently.   

    Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
