Responsible for overseeing the implementation of school-wide MTSS for behavior. This includes coordinating professional learning and the data collection and analysis around MTSS for behavior.

Current salary plus $4,000.00
Up to ten additional days at $340/day

Excellent written and oral communication skills including proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and related communication skills
Ability to work independently without supervision and as a team member.

Extensive knowledge of MTSS for behavior.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and assume responsibility.

Capable of representing the District in a professional manner, which includes but is not limited to confidentiality, collegiality, and the ability to obtain and utilize additional training, if necessary.
Ability to develop programs and training school personnel on the use of research –based strategies or promising practice around PBIS.
Provides school-based trainings in collaboration with Grant Wood AEA PBIS Team.
Provides school based professional development to support building School Improvement Plans.
Provides Technical Assistance (TA) and support to Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 internal Coaches.
Assists with data collection and data based decision-making processes.
Conducts walk-throughs to verify implementation at the building level.
Facilitates district level data collection and analysis.
Facilitates expansion and sustainability of practices district wide.
Provides ongoing TA and support to Building Level MTSS Behavior Teams.
Completes an annual report to be shared with all stakeholders.
Provides implementation support around building level data analysis.
Collaborates with district-level data analysts.
Participate in professional learning around Behavior MTSS.
Meets the 8 Iowa Teaching Standards and 42 criteria on a consistent basis.
Maintains appropriate records and protects the confidentiality of data.
Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Collaborate with teachers to meet needs of students and families
Collaborate with instructional coaches to maximize resources.
Communicate and maintain positive relationships with district staff and community.
Ability to troubleshoot problems while maintaining a positive attitude.
All Teacher Leader Positions will be evaluated annually in an effort to provide opportunities for the teacher to reflect upon his/her practice and administration to provide feedback to enhance professional growth.
CRCSD evaluation procedure will be used.
TLS rubric identifying levels of development will be used to monitor growth and determine if the teacher leader is performing at a satisfactory level to continue in the teacher leader role.
