Description: Teacher Leader / Technology Integration Coach
Job Summary: To provide staff with technology assistance, tools, knowledge, and experience to improve the delivery of instruction and student achievement.
Qualifications: Minimum three years teaching experience and at least one year of experience with the Linn-Mar Community School District.
Working Conditions: Full time release.
The responsibilities and duties include:
? Completes 8 days of Cognitive Coaching Foundation Training; preferably having days 1-4 completed prior to the start of the teacher contract
? Primarily uses Cognitive Coaching in coaching conversations
? Records (video and/or audio) self during coaching for reflection and goal attainment on a regular basis
? Attends weekly training on Tuesdays with Teacher Leader staff from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
? Cultivates a collaborative culture of trust with building staff and other teacher leaders
? Completes, at a minimum, one coaching cycle with all assigned teachers per year
? Demonstrates up to date knowledge of district innovations/initiatives
? Collaborates with staff on instructional and professional resources related to technology
? Assists teachers in selecting and implementing effective innovation strategies into current curriculum
? Works in classrooms to help teachers implement new innovations, modeling, co-teaching lessons, observing, collecting data and giving feedback
? Facilitates, designs and delivers professional development related to innovation as directed
? Collaborates with the Technology Program Leaders to spearhead work on technology competencies and innovations as defined in the building technology/innovation goals
