Percussion Band Instructor:A member of the comprehensive overall Thornridge High School Band Program Including Marching Band, Drumline, Chamber Ensembles, and Beginning Bands. The Percussion band Instructor will provide administrative, developmental and sequential support to all percussion musicians in the band program. The director will have the necessary skills to provide a well-rounded rehearsals and performance schedules. He or she will have leadership skills to maintain a quality environment for the success of all band student. Also he or she will have the public relationship skills to ensure an inclusive relationship with faculty, staff, parental and community involvement and other responsibilities as discussed and aligned with the Band Director, Activities Director and Administration.

He or she will have leadership skills to maintain a quality environment for the success of all band student. Also he or she will have the public relationship skills to ensure an inclusive relationship with faculty, staff, parental and community involvement.

Activity Discretionary Position
To plan and prepare a prom experience for the Jr and Sr Class. Be available to meet Bi- weekly with a prom committee. To be able to communicate with parents, teachers, and staff all communication in regards to prom.
Sponsor will be responsible for working with seniors for senior activities including coordinating cap and gown procedures, planning senior awards, and senior night.

Create a program for the month of February for the entire student body. This includes maintaining records, ordering supplies, planning guest speakers, hosting an assembly, recruiting students and staff to participate. Spirit week, hall parade, weekly events for Black History Month.Report to the Student Activities Director.

A High School Physical Education, Health, and Driver's Education Teacher is responsible for delivering a well-rounded program that promotes students' physical fitness, personal health, and safe driving skills. You will design and lead physical education activities that build strength, coordination, and teamwork; teach health concepts such as nutrition, mental wellness, and responsible decision-making; and provide driver education instruction focused on traffic laws, defensive driving, and road safety. This role involves assessing student progress, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and encouraging lifelong healthy habits while preparing students to become responsible, active, and safety-conscious adults. Strong classroom and activity management. Knowledge of health education, state standards and traffic safety laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate high school students.
Applicants must possess a valid teaching license with a Health Endorsement and demonstrate experience working in an alternative school setting. Preferred candidates will have training and practical application in Restorative Justice, and effective de-escalation strategies to support students' behavioral, social-emotional, and academic growth.
