Cleaning and Maintenance
• Cleans assigned areas of the building
• Responsible for keeping buildings clean and orderly. This includes but is not limited to:

• Driving Requirement - This position may require driving.

Job Description:
The Nutrition Services Substitute assists with preparing and serving nutritious meals to students throughout the school district.  This position provides coverage for regular Nutrition Services employees as needed and may work at various school kitchens. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications:
1.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
3. Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers, school staff, and students.
4. Dependable attendance and punctuality.
5. Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

6. Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize food preparation and serving areas.
7. Operate kitchen equipment safely.
8. Follow district policies, work schedules, confidentiality requirements, and instructions from Nutrition Services Director and Kitchen Managers.
