Article IX, Section 4, subd. 4 of the Teachers' Collective Bargaining Agreement states: All college or professional development training credits in order to be considered for application on the salary schedule, must be approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee in writing prior to the taking of the course or professional development activity.
Please complete the required information below. Once approved, a copy will be sent to you. Professional Development Forms approved for professional development credit will be filed in your personnel file until you are ready to make a lane change. Professional Development Forms approved for stipend will be sent to the Business Office for payment.

Stipend
Monetary stipends are calculated at a rate of $28.00 an hour per the D110 Master Agreement.
Payment is included in your payroll check with taxes deducted.
Professional Development Credit (PDC)
PDCs are quarter credits that may be applied toward a lane change per the D110 Master Agreement.
Fifteen quarter credits or 10 semester credits are needed per lane change.
Employees may apply up to 6 PDCs per lane change.
PDCs are a great option if you already have a Masters Degree and wish to move additional lanes on the salary agreement.
PDCs do not follow you to another district.
