PLACES Program: Overview
The PLACES program is a cross-categorical program providing academic, social, communicative, self-help and motor support for children with multiple disabilities. The PLACES program is for children functioning significantly below their peers in cognitive and self-care abilities that would impede their performance in a typical classroom setting. Health issues, ranging from digestive problems to breathing difficulties are often a concern for these children as well.
