To establish a complete pre-employment file, please complete the online application. Please use either FireFox or Google Chrome as your Internet Browser.  Your application will be retained in active status for one school year. 

If you are a current guest employee (substitute) with Federal Way Public Schools, please select the "External Applicants" option and answer "No" when asked if you are an employee. Even though you have an employee ID number, you are not considered a permanent employee.

                Paraeducator Candidates:  Federal Way Public Schools’ Human Resources Department will be proctoring the Para Pro Assessment for those Paraeducator Candidates who need it to meet minimum qualifications.  Not all Paraeducator Candidates need the Assessment.  If you have questions about the Assessment or Minimum Qualifications, please see the Paraeducator job postings or email our Human Resources Department at hr@fwps.org.
               
                Pre-Registration is required.  Space is Limited.  The Para Pro Assessment is $55.00 and must be paid prior to the Assessment date.  If the payment is cash please note we do not carry change and it must be in the exact amount.  To Register, please come to Human Resources within the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm.  The Human Resources Office is located at the Educational Service Center at 33330 8th Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003.  

                Our next scheduled assessment will be on September 21, 2017; check-in starts at 8:30am, with the Assessment beginning at 9:00am and ending at 12:00pm.  Candidates are given 3 hours for the Assessment. Official ID must be presented at the time of check in.  Additional days and times for the Para Pro Assessment will be added as needed and announced here.
