This program is designed to teach employment personal management and recreation/leisure skills to scholars between the ages of 18 - 21 years old with developmental disabilities.  Paraeducators perform instructional/tutorial assignments and supervision under the direction of a teacher.  Paraeducators also work in a large team-teaching approach as well as work with small groups of students in a work environment and/or vocational settings.  Please consider applying for one of these paraeducator openings!

Paraeducator Candidates:  Federal Way Public Schools proctors the Para Pro Assessment Test for candidates who do not meet the 72 quarter college credit requirement.  There is a $55.00 fee.  You can call 253 945 2073 to schedule a time.  You can also go to the following website to see if there are other locations proctoring the test https://www.ets.org/parapro/register/centers and there is a remote option as well https://www.prometric.com/ParaPro.
