About Our Community
Imlay City Schools is located in the heart of Imlay City, Michigan, a welcoming community in eastern Lapeer County. Conveniently situated along the I-69 corridor between Flint and Port Huron, Imlay City offers the charm of a close-knit small town while providing easy access to the amenities and employment opportunities.

The district consists of two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, serving approximately 2,100 students. Our schools are supported by strong community partnerships, engaged families, and a shared commitment to student success. Residents enjoy a high quality of life with access to parks, recreation, local businesses, community events, and a safe, family-friendly environment that makes Imlay City a wonderful place to live, work, and learn.
