Lockport School District 91 serves the residents of Lockport, Illinois with two schools: Milne Grove Elementary School (K-3) and Kelvin Grove Middle School (4-8). Milne-Kelvin Grove (Lockport) School District 91 is located in suburban Will County.
Both schools are neighborhood schools with all students being able to walk to school. Students in grades kindergarten through fifth are basically self-contained while our sixth through eighth graders participate in a middle school concept.
District 91 is a member of the Lockport Area Consortium of Schools composed of
Lockport Township High School District 205 and its seven feeder districts. The District is also a member of the
Lockport Area Special Education Cooperative, a member in good standing of
RAILS: Reaching Across Illinois Library System, and an
IESA: Illinois Elementary School Association member.
