The Norwich Free Academy is seeking an Athletic Trainer. The goal of the Athletic Trainer is to provide high-quality, professional athletic training services to Norwich Free Academy student-athletes year-round. The Certified Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries under the direction of the Academy's designated physician. This position ensures continuity of care for athletes during the school year and summer months, promoting safe training, recovery, and performance across all programs. This is a full-time, 12-month position providing comprehensive coverage for Norwich Free Academy's interscholastic athletics and summer conditioning programs.
Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience and credentials). Hockey Event Coverage (Potential Additional Earnings): In addition to the base salary, the Athletic Trainer may be eligible for a $225 per-game stipend for boys' ice hockey event coverage when assigned. Based on an estimated schedule, this may result in up to $5,625 in potential additional annual earnings. Actual earnings depend on assignment and event schedule and are not guaranteed. Evening and weekend work required; schedule determined by athletic event and summer program coverage. Full benefits package, retirement contributions, vacation, and paid time off.
