LOCATION:
The district is located in the Northwest Arctic Borough region of Alaska and includes 11 communities that are sure to enrich the quality of life for you and your family. The District consists of 1 elementary school, 1 middle-high school, 10 PK-12 schools, and 1 vocational technical school serving 1800 students. The District Office and regional hub are in Kotzebue, Alaska.

AREAS OF CONTINUOUS NEED:
The NWABSD is currently looking for additional substitute teachers and bus drivers. The NWABSD provides training for our substitutes.

To support your professional development the NWABSD uses Frontline tools to facilitate the tracking of state certification and licensing requirements, easy access to your portfolio of completed professional development and district mandatory training.
