Twin Cities International Schools (TCIS) is currently accepting applications for a full-time
2nd Grade Teacher
position for the remainder of the
2025-2026
school year. Applicants must currently hold a valid Minnesota teaching license or possess a valid Minnesota teaching license prior to hire/start date. We are a public charter school located in the North Loop of Minneapolis with a student enrollment of approximately 1,000 students (K-8).
Responsibilities/Duties (Including but not limited to):
Work collaboratively with your 2nd grade team;
Engage students in learning through best practice strategies, establishing high expectations for students;
Communicate effectively with parents, students and staff;
Plan, organize and deliver lessons consistent with MN state standards and curriculum;
Comfortable integrating technology into daily lesson plans;
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all your students;
Experience with standards-based instruction, English-Language Learners and common assessments a plus
Other duties as assigned
Salary is determined by experience and education, with the upcoming 2025-26 school year licensed employee salaries ranging from $46,635.47 to $84,238.12. Current Minnesota licensed Tier 3 or 4 teacher salary starts at $50,309.21. Additional salary amounts available for completed Master's, Master's + 60 credits, Ed.D. or Ph.D. Due to the position start date being mid-year, the salary will be pro-rated in regards to actual start date. Additional benefits are also available for full-time employees, including medical and dental benefits (optional) and include coverage of employee, employee + 1 or family. Flex spending accounts for medical or dependent care are also available, but optional. TCIS requires enrollment in TRA (Teacher's Retirement Association) retirement plan for all licensed employees.

Special Education Program Assistant Position
(Grades K-8) for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. Immediate start date available.
Requirements:
Applicants will

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or
Completion of a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college or university or
Paraeducator Title 1 Certification
Responsibilities include:
Help develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children; according to age ability, and aptitude. Under direction of special education teacher, assist in implementation of a variety of academic and behavioral strategies for individual students. One to one student supervision, including behavior modification, collecting student data and evaluating student goals. Working collaboratively with the special education department to foster student success. Educational Assistants' also assist the teachers in helping challenge and inspire students to deepen their knowledge and understanding. The following skills are required; Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, Reasoning Ability, Computer Skills.
Salary is determined by experience with the 2025-26 school year Educational Assistants/Non-licensed employee salaries ranging from $37,087.20 to $51,510.00. Due to the position start date being mid-year, the salary will be pro-rated in regards to actual start date.
