Welcome to the Bedford Public Schools
Bedford is a thriving town of approximately 15,000 residents located about 15 miles northwest of Boston. Serving roughly 2,400 students across four schools, our district is enriched by a vibrant student body drawn from Bedford, Hanscom Air Force Base, and Boston via the METCO school integration program. This rich variety of global backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives thrives within high-performing schools that are fully backed by a community dedicated to investing in the tools, technology, and staff our students deserve.

Nearly half of our approximately 450 employees have worked in the Bedford Public Schools for at least ten years, reflecting the experience, commitment, and strong relationships that are hallmarks of our schools.
