Guest Teacher (Substitute)
Job Goal: Substitute teachers are needed to fill day-to-day and long term leave positions within the district. The substitute teacher must maintain a positive learning environment and provide instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Qualifications: Preferred that you have a Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in Elementary Education (K-9) or endorsed in Secondary Education (6-12) with multiple endorsements. Educator License with Stipulation(ELS) as a Substitute will also be considered.Working Conditions: On call during the school year.Daily pay rate: Elementary and Middle School $130.00; position is not eligible for benefits.*Long Term Paid the daily rate $250.83 (2026-2027 school year teacher base salary schedule Lane 1 Step 1) as per the negotiated agreement.
*Long term positions are classified as 20 consecutive days in the same assignment.
