Paraprofessional Information and Hiring Requirements
Lexington County School District One paraprofessionals must meet one of the following prior to their date of hire:
- 60 college credit hours
- An associate degree or higher
- A passing score on the ParaPro or ParaPathways Assessment (available at ETS.org)
Positions include:
Behavior Support Assistant, Job Coach, Instructional Assistant (including Special Ed), ISS Monitor, One-to-One Shadow, Title I Tutor, Title I Family Liaison, and more.
