Glenbrook North High School is seeking applicants to serve as an Assistant Bass Fishing Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. 

This team is for students who would like to learn about fishing, wildlife, and conservation, as well as enhance their current skills through field trips and competitions. All experience levels are welcome! Monthly meetings are held, local trips in the Fall for students who are interested in Fishing Club, and daily practices and local tournaments in the Spring for members of our Bass Fishing Team. The Spring competition season will culminate with the IHSA Bass Fishing Sectional and State Tournaments. 

The 1.0 FTE (annual) stipend for this position is based on District 225's Discretionary stipend amount of $2,180.50.  To learn more about D225's compensation and benefits package, please visit our website. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Glenbrook South High School is seeking applicants to serve as the Assistant (Individual Events) Speech Coach position for the 2025-2026 school year (two available positions).

The primary role of the Assistant Speech Coach involves the nurturing of student competitor skills in the communication arts. Familiarity with all fourteen individual events and proficiency in at least three specific events are required. The goal is a well-rounded coaching staff that attends to the needs of all fourteen events offered in competition by the IHSA. The duties for individual events coaches are as follows:
 
• Attend auditions to assemble a team.
• Coaching assigned students at least once per week.
• Attend a minimum of three invitational tournaments.
• Ride the bus with students. Bus supervision will be split amongst all coaches equally.
• Supervise and support competitors at tournaments.
• Judge as needed at invitational tournaments.
• Read critiques and share appropriate feedback with competitors.
• Attend Regional and Sectional competitions from morning judges’ meetings through the awards ceremony.
• Assist with the reading and cutting of selection of performance materials where appropriate.
• Proofread student-generated speeches and offer feedback when necessary.
• Attend weekly team meetings to offer coaching sign-up for team members.
• Maintain email contact with students and parents to answer questions throughout the season.
• Assist in the selection of Regional team members by viewing selected performances in all fourteen events throughout the season.
• Attend the end of the season banquet.
• Additional reasonable duties as they might arise throughout the season.

Glenbrook Transition Services is seeking multiple Instructional Assistants - Advanced Support: Glenbrook Transition Services.

The Instructional Assistant - Advanced Support: Glenbrook Transition Services works collaboratively with students ages 18-22, staff, parents, and adult service and community agencies to assist in all aspects of the daily instructional program for students with disabilities within the school and community setting. The person in this position will provide instructional support with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of students with disabilities in educational and community-based settings while promoting peer relations and independence in the classroom under the direct and indirect supervision of the teacher and other related service staff. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    
1. State Paraprofessional License (60 or more college credit hours or pass the Paraprofessional test to apply for a license) OR Substitute Teacher License. 
    
2. Successful completion of the District Lifting Evaluation.
    
3. Experience with behavioral support and personal care.
    
4. Experience working with high school students is preferred.
    
5. Required to have a valid driver's license and use reliable personal transportation to meet students at community-based sites as needed.  
    
6. Willingness to obtain the qualifications to drive a van or activity bus.

The Security Assistant is responsible for student safety, security, and addressing student behavior. Security Assistants proactively engage with students, staff, and visitors to promote a sense of safety and security. Security Assistants provide a proactive and visible presence in the halls, cafeterias, and campus locations while maintaining a firm but pleasant demeanor with the student body. The position requires strong and positive communication skills with students, staff, parents, and community members.

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications
 
• Possesses, at a minimum, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Glenbrook High School District 225, commonly referred to as the Glenbrooks has a student enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools have a reputation for offering students an excellent, high-quality, well-rounded educational experience. In addition to our two high schools, The Glenbrooks also offer alternative learning at Glenbrook Off-Campus.

To create a comprehensive high school experience, the Glenbrooks focus on four distinct areas: Academics, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts.  Academic success is a top priority for our students and with almost 300 diverse course offerings, there is plenty of opportunity for exploration. In addition to core academic courses in the areas of English, mathematics, science, social studies, and world language; students may pursue special interest classes such as architecture, automotive, debate, graphic design, and music. Glenbrook students enjoy success inside and outside of the classroom through numerous athletic and activities programs. The schools offer over 25 different competitive sports and a series of club sports to satisfy any athlete.  Each school also hosts from 70-80 different clubs and activities for students throughout the year.

Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking Test Proctors for the 20252026 school year. 

Pay rates for Test Proctor positions are in accordance with the attached  miscellaneous wage schedule and are as follows: 

Test Proctoring/Room Monitor: $25.97/hour
Room Supervisor: $32.75/hour

This position is not eligible for benefits. 

You must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school. You may not be planning to or be scheduled to take a college board exam 12 months from the proctoring date.

• Rate: Estimated to be $66/hour
• Total Days per Session: 12

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain the appropriate Illinois credentials for this position.
