Licensed Positions
Licensed positions require a Professional Educator's License. Examples of Licensed positions include: Teacher, Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent, Media Coordinator, Guidance Counselor, School Social Worker, School Psychologist, and Speech Language Pathologist.  Please visit http://www.ncpublicschools.org/licensure/ , for more information regarding your eligibility for certified positions.

Classified Positions
Classified positions (Administrative Assistants, After School Assistant, Custodian, Exceptional Children Assistant, Food Service Assistant, Food Service Manager, Grounds Worker, HVAC Mechanic, Instructional/Assistant, Media Assistant, Student Data Manager, Occupational Therapist, Office Support, Physical Therapist, Regular Bus Driver, Secretary, Technology Support, Transportation Mechanic, and Tutor) do not require a professional educator’s license.
