The Accounting Assistant I provides support to the Superintendent of Business Services and Accounting Assistant II in accordance with the fiscal procedures of the park district as specified by Board Policy and in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures. The Accounting Assistant I may assist in the supervision of interns. Supervision is received from the Superintendent of Business Services.

YOUTH BASKETBALL OFFICIAL Number of positions: 2-5 Salary: $25/Per game – approximately 2-4 games/week Dates: January-March Position Summary Youth Basketball Officials serve as on-court referees for youth basketball games administered by the Urbana Park District. Officials help create a safe, fair, and positive environment for players, coaches, and spectators. This position is supervised by the Athletics Supervisor and Athletics Coordinator.
CAMP LEADER SUBSTITUTE Number of Positions: 4-6 Salary: $15.75-$16.00 to $16.75-$17.00/hour; as needed for 10 weeks Plus paid planning and training hours as needed Dates: June 3 – August 7, 2026; Monday – Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm Training: Evenings May 13, 19, and 20; Day of June 1 & 2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under the supervision of the Camp Coordinators across the district, the Camp Leader Sub assists in the implementation of summer camp as needed. Leaders will supervise campers ages 3-15. Subs will be given as much notice as possible when Camp Leader Sub shifts arise; an additional $1/hr will be added to compensation for picking up shifts day-of. Camp leaders are responsible for the safety of all campers, meeting camp objectives, working within a budget, and communicating with adults and supervisors. Daily activities include (but not limited to) arts & crafts, nature hikes, hands-on exploration, active games, team building activities, and taking field trips via MTD. As a benefit, all camp staffers receive both a summer pool pass to the Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center and a summer membership to the Urbana Health and Wellness Center.

The Camp Supervisor is responsible for carrying out camp goals, supervising leaders, administering the budget, leading and organizing meetings with camp leaders, and communicating with parents.

As a Personal Trainer, you will provide cutting-edge fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining and educational methods to promote fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment for individual participants. Sessions will be 45 minutes long. 15 minutes of set up and clean up time is included. General Position Description:
The Grounds Maintenance Technician I is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position. The Grounds Maintenance Technician I reports directly to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. This position may require flexibility in the hours worked to meet the needs of the Planning and Operations Department, and may change depending on the building use/activities planned. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend hours may be necessary to support continuous business operations and/or building function support.
General Position Requirements: This position requires the performance of duties associated with mowing and arboriculture, such as planting, pruning and removal of trees. It also includes general maintenance activities at all park sites and facilities.
